ABOUT AARON PYLE
Aaron is a skilful extreme-sports athlete who has been racing dirt bikes since 2003, and at an Expert level since 2006. He made the change to mountain bike racing in 2014 and has been incredibly focused on achieving his goal of podium finishes through the 2014/15 series. And to his credit, Aaron’s dedication has been paying off. Throughout the 14/15 Enve Victorian Gravity Enduro Series, Aaron competed in 6 of the 7 Rounds and finished on the podium for all of them – including a 1st place at the final round at Mt Buller on the 26th April 2015. As we publish this, the Series results are still pending, so wait are waiting with excitement to see if Aaron won his class in his first year of racing.
A few of Aaron’s notable achievements include: competing in the 2009 and 2012 Australian 4 Day Enduro and finishing with bronze and silver medals respectively. He had many successful years racing in QLD with countless podium finishes. Aaron now resides in Canberra through a posting with work; and with the continued support and use of Urban Muscle supplements, Aaron finished on the podium at numerous NSW State Series dirt bike events during 2010-14. (We are looking forward to updating this section with some upcoming MTB awards).
State MTB Gravity Enduro
National MTB Gravity Enduro
In 2014, Aaron decided to pursue his passion for Gravity mountain biking and is now competing in the NSW and Victorian MTB Gravity Enduro Series. The first half of 2014 was challenging with intense training and adapting to this new style of racing. “MTB Gravity Enduro is more of a sprint event with a MTB Downhill culture combined with some Cross Country cardio bursts. With the performance and recovery of UM, Aaron is kickin’ butt and will be moving up into Expert Class come the 2015/16 Series.
Check out the What's Next feed for all the major events Aaron has planned. “I am extremely excited to have changed disciplines from dirt bike racing to MTB racing,” Aaron told us. “I have used MTB riding as a cross-trainer for motorbike racing and now the tables have turned. I will continue to set my goals high and will be aiming for the podium throughout the remainder of 2015.”
“Whether I am MTB racing, cross training or snowboarding for fun; I have always been able to rely on some key UM supplements for performance and recovery.”
Aaron has been using UM supplements for over 7 years now, and aside from the occasional adjustment depending on his goals, he has always based his training and race day supplementing on a few fundamental products.
“The following supplements are the first ones I recommend for family, friends and racers alike. No matter what your goals are, it is always about giving your body the best opportunity to perform and recover. I will spend some time in a future report to break down my supplement regime for racing, however these are my must-have recommendations for UM supplements.”
Nectar Of The Gods (N.O.T.G.)
In addition to the above, Aaron uses the following supplements during training and race day:
"UM is The Only Brand
I Trust to Fuel my Body"
“I would recommend Urban Muscle to anyone wishing to enhance their fitness/lifestyle goals, no matter what they are – from gaining muscle, toning up or improving performance on and off the track or all of the above, there is no compromise when it comes to UM supplements.”

December 2014 - April 2015
This has been my first year of racing MTB Gravity Enduro – and although I am always out there riding for fun, I set my goals high. Living in Canberra has given me fantastic access to some of the most amazing riding in Australia – plus within 5 hours I have access to the Victorian racing as well. Riding through the Australian Alpine region has been truly incredible.
With 7 rounds over 8 months I had my schedule set and was ready to race. Training early in 2014 had me physically ready, and with the support of Onya Bike in Canberra I was bike and equipment ready also. The Alpine Gravity crew run the events and do a fantastic job. With over 200 competitors and 30 plus in my class, racing was extremely competitive. For a full run down of event structure, check out www.alpinegravity.net.
I managed to compete in 5 of the 7 rounds with one of the rounds being cancelled due to electrical storms and the other clashing with a National Gravity Enduro event held at Thredbo in Dec 14. From the first round I was determined to give this series everything and finished my first race with my first podium - 3rd place. The remainder of the series was just as intense with different locations and a variety of formats. I was extremely happy with my racing – I ended up with two 3rd places, two 2nd places and a 1st place for the final round at Mt Buller on 26 Apr 15.
I will have to keep you updated on overall results as I will be heading back down to Victoria for a ride day followed by the series presentations. I am not too sure on over points – so my fingers are crossed.
Through all my training and racing I could not have achieved such great performance and recovery if it wasn’t for UM. Keep an eye on the Supplement Regime folder as I am in the final stages of posting my training and race day supplement programs. Thank you to everyone for all your support.
